Join us for a fun, family-friendly magical adventure where fate and love triumph all! Led by a cast of professional opera singers and musicians we invite you to an interactive and relaxed concert where singing and movement is encouraged. Experience the magic of opera, storytelling and music, whatever your age!
Doors open 30 minutes before the performance. Please join us before the show if you can to make your very own magical wand.

What can I expect when I arrive?
Upon arriving at Howard Assembly Room you will see the Box Office, where you can print your ticket or ask any questions. To the left will be a member of staff ready to scan your ticket. Then there are a few steps up to the atrium area, this is where the buggy park is located and the pre-show craft activity led by Opera North Education.
What facilitates are there for my child?
The toilets are located on the first floor, accessible by lift or stairs, and include a baby change toilet. Please note there is only one facility so queues may be likely.
Can I arrive by car?
It is not possible to park at Howard Opera Centre, however drop off outside the venue is possible.
There are car parking options available close to Howard Opera Centre.
Is there food and drink available?
There is a small bar area at the entrance to the performance space where hot and cold drinks are served and snacks are available. It is possible to take all items into the performance.
What if I arrive late or need to leave during the performance?
This is a relaxed performance where moving around to the music is encouraged. If you arrive late you will be shown into the space by a member of staff. You are welcome to leave and return as required throughout the performance.
