Well that was an utter triumph. Bravo all at @Opera_North, just the best live Tosca I’ve ever seen. Amazing performances and a fantastic production. Totally brilliant revival. More opera in 2023 is one of my new year’s resolutions. pic.twitter.com/HYVpfC0Erk

Tosca from @Opera_North in Leeds. Absolutely stunning. Beautifully staged and visceral, gut-wrenching performances. Particular shoutouts for Giselle Allen’s Tosca, Mykhailo Malafii’s Cavaradossi, and Robert Hayward’s Scarpia. Go and see it! ❤ https://t.co/hBrKYXx7pi

Went to see @Opera_North‘s #ONTosca on Saturday. It’s still the best thing I’ve ever seen on stage, tbh. I can’t recommend getting to see it enough. One of the best operas, and one of the best productions of any opera I can think of. A masterpiece from Puccini and @edwarddick

Beautiful set! An artistic treat in so many ways ??

Ooh @Opera_North *brilliant* act one. The Te Deum ending is both sumptuous and exquisitely political: Scarpia as MAGA right wing evangelical! Delicious ?
Getting strong Rita Fairclough vibes for Tosca ?

#ONTosca curtain calls. Giselle Allen was *astonishing*. Loved the visceral, hard-hitting production, really sold by the cunning updates. @Opera_North on fire with this. pic.twitter.com/DY1f7wn61e
