Sagars, one of the largest independent accountancy firms in Yorkshire, has become an Opera North Corporate Member forging closer links between the two Leeds-based organisations.
Having worked together since 2017, Sagars has now moved into a three year commitment as a Corporate Member of Opera North, creating a unique partnership through to 2022 as the company embarks on an ambitious £18 million redevelopment project cementing its position as a creative powerhouse in the heart of the city.
Chris Jones, Partner at Sagars, said:
“Being aligned with Opera North is the perfect fit for us. There are so many parallels between the two companies, including our pride in our Leeds roots, our commitment to innovation and excellence, our enthusiasm for inspiring the next generation, and our desire to present the very best of what the North has to offer locally, nationally and internationally.”
Through its partnership schemes, Opera North aims to build increasingly strong connections with business leaders across the region who value the role the arts play in enriching lives in the North of England and who are keen to further Yorkshire’s vast cultural, social, and economic potential.
The company works closely with its corporate members to create bespoke partnerships that meet each business’s needs and provide an excellent return on investment. In addition to tickets to opera performances, this can include engagement with the company’s education and community outreach work, backstage tours, employee workshops with Opera North’s creative team, special receptions, networking events, and private performances. As a Corporate Member, Sagars joins such companies as Evans Property Group, Trinity Leeds and Emerald Publishing.
