Madeline Bell, the legendary New Jersey born vocal star, is coming to the Howard Assembly Room with a truly magical show this Christmas, joined by the UK’s own award winning jazz pianist and singer Ian Shaw.
Celebrating six fabulous decades, Madeline has many musical and showbiz stories to tell. A dazzling solo career has seen her touring with the world’s greatest orchestras, headlining The Talk of The Town, Ronnie Scott’s and the Soul Britannia tour.
The voice of Blue Mink (‘Melting Pot’, ‘Good Morning Freedom’), Madeline is also one of the world’s most-heard session singers, having worked with the likes of Joe Cocker, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder and Donna Summer.
Tonight, she’ll regale you with song and story, and is happy to take questions from the audience too!
With a programme promising classic Christmas treats from ‘The Christmas Song’ to ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’, alongside festive original tunes drawn from her 2004 Blue Christmas album, this promises to be an unforgettable evening.
